August 25, 2023 - The Vice-Chancellor of the International Medical University (IMU), Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Baba, received a courtesy call from representatives of the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). The representatives included Dr. Md Fauzi bin Md Ismail, Registrar of MBOT, Ts. Dr. Nor Aznan bin Mohd Nor, Deputy Director of the Technology and Technical Accreditation Secretariat (TTAS) and Mrs. Hajah Nur Sakinah binti Ishak, Assistant Director of TTAS at MBOT.

The purpose of this courtesy call was to share the latest updates about MBOT comprehensively and to explore potential collaboration opportunities between IMU and MBOT. These collaborations could include the accreditation of Technology and Technical Academic Programs, the development of new academic programs related to technology and technical fields, the enhancement of the professionalism of IMU lecturers through MBOT Professional Recognition, and the establishment of joint programs between IMU and MBOT for the mutual benefit of both parties.
