June 23, 2025 - The Technology and Technical Accreditation Secretariat attended an engagement session with the Halal Management Division, Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) to present the proposed establishment of the Putrajaya Accord.

The session aimed to gather input related to halal elements in the fields of Agro-based Technology and Food Technology, as well as to obtain feedback and further clarification on the requirements and necessary improvements for the implementation of the Putrajaya Accord. The input collected will be discussed in detail during the Putrajaya Accord workshop, scheduled from 27 - 29 June 2025.
