March 31, 2026 - The President of the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), YBhg. Prof. Dato' Ts. Ir. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib, accompanied by the MBOT Registrar paid a courtesy visit to the Director-General of the Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education (JPPKK), YBrs. Dr. Shamsuri Abdullah.

The visit aimed to further strengthen the existing strategic collaboration between both parties, particularly in enhancing the development of TVET education and advancing professional pathways in the field of technology.

In addition, the meeting provided a platform to discuss potential new initiatives, alignment of competency standards, and efforts to expand the recognition of technology-related programmes in line with current industry needs. It is hoped that this collaboration will continue to be strengthened in producing highly skilled technologists who are competitive at both national and international levels.
