18 & 19 Apr, 2026 - The Accreditation Panel Training Workshop on the Evaluation of Programmes Delivered via Open and Distance Learning (ODL), Offshore, and Industrial Mode was successfully held at the Compass Room, Peninsula College-The Ship Campus, Penang.

The workshop was designed to strengthen the competency and professional readiness of existing accreditation panel members in conducting programme evaluations involving non-traditional delivery modes, particularly ODL, offshore, and industrial-based learning.

Throughout the two-day programme, participants were provided with comprehensive briefings on the latest MBOT accreditation requirements, structured reporting practices, and key evaluation principles. These sessions aimed to ensure greater consistency in assessment, uphold quality assurance standards, and align evaluation practices.

In addition, the workshop served as an important platform to enhance expert judgement among panel members, promote best practices in accreditation assessments, and reinforce a culture of continuous quality improvement in technology-based programmes under MBOT.
