May 7, 2026 - Albukhary International University continues to strengthen its role as an industry-focused education hub through a recent strategic engagement with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). The visit, hosted by the Vice Chancellor and President, Professor Dato' Ir. Dr. Mohd Saleh Bin Jaafar highlighted the university's commitment to aligning academic excellence with professional recognition.

MBOT was represented by its Registrar, Dr. Md Fauzi bin Md Ismail, together with the Director of TTAS, Ts. Dr. Nor Aznan bin Mohd Nor.

The discussion covered key areas such as improving technology-related programmes to meet TTAC standards, supporting academic staff in gaining Professional Technologist (Ts.) and Certified Technician (Tc.) recognition, and exploring the development of micro-credentials and short courses for workforce upskilling. The collaboration also included guidance on accreditation documentation and compliance processes, reflecting a shared commitment to producing graduates who are well-prepared for the demands of the technology sector.
