Jun 20, 2026 - The Technology and Technical Accreditation Secretariat, Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) organised the Bengkel Pemurnian Kompetensi Teknologis dan Juruteknik MBOT at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre. The workshop brought together members of the MBOT Industry Lead Accreditation Committee and the Technology and Technical Working Group (TTWG) to review and refine competencies across various technology & technical fields. The initiative aims to ensure that the competencies remain relevant to current industry needs, aligned with technological advancements, and supportive of the nation's aspiration to produce highly skilled and competitive talent.

Participants shared insights and recommendations to strengthen existing professional standards for Technologists and Technicians. The outcomes of the workshop will serve as key input for the development of the Technology and Technical Accreditation Standard 3rd Edition, enhancing alignment between industry requirements, accreditation standards, and programme curriculum development.
