Aug 11, 2026 - The Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) recently paid a courtesy visit to Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration in technology education and professional development.

The engagement provided an opportunity for both parties to exchange views on current developments in technology education, industry needs, and strategies to enhance the quality and relevance of technology-related academic programmes. Discussions also focused on preparing graduates with the competencies required to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

During the visit, MBOT shared updates on its latest initiative, the Conversion of Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in Computing and IT-related Disciplines for Seoul Accord Recognition, which aims to promote greater international recognition of Malaysian computing and IT programmes.

The visit concluded with both MBOT and APU reaffirming their commitment to fostering closer collaboration in support of quality technology education and the development of future-ready technology professionals.
