Sept 10, 2026 - The Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT) conducted an accreditation briefing for UCSI University, which was warmly received by Prof. Ts. Dr. Shayla Islam, Director of the Institute of Computer and Digital Innovation.

The briefing provided an overview of the conversion process and its requirements, with a focus on opportunities for UCSI University’s Computing and IT-related programmes to pursue MBOT accreditation in alignment with the Seoul Accord framework. The initiative is aimed at strengthening professional recognition and supporting the international mobility of graduates in the computing and IT field.

The engagement also served as a platform for knowledge sharing and the exchange of insights on accreditation matters, further strengthening the collaboration between MBOT and UCSI University in advancing the accreditation and professional recognition of Computing and IT-related programmes.
