MBOT COURTESY VISIT TO LINCOLN UNIVERSITY COLLEGE ENHANCES COLLABORATION IN TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION

Sept 22, 2026 - Lincoln University College recently welcomed a delegation from the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) for a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration in technology education and professional development.
The MBOT delegation was welcomed by YBhg. Dato’ Ambassador Dr. Mohd Yusoff bin A. Bakar, Chief Executive Officer, together with the University’s management team. The delegation was led by YBrs. Ts. Dr. Nor Aznan bin Mohd Nor, Director of the Technology and Technical Accreditation Secretariat (TTAS), accompanied by Assistant Directors, Ms. Auni Batrisya Mohamad Zaihan and Mr. Raja Syariz Zafian bin Raja Sulaiman.
The discussion explored potential areas of collaboration, particularly in enhancing programme quality and professional recognition. MBOT also shared its latest initiative, the Conversion of Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in Computing and IT-related Programmes for Seoul Accord Recognition, to support eligible programmes in obtaining international recognition.
The session also highlighted MBOT’s direction that, beginning in 2027, graduates from MBOT-accredited programmes recognised under the Seoul Accord will be eligible for professional registration with MBOT in the relevant computing and IT-related fields.
