March 27, 2024 - The Vice-Chancellor of the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Professor Dato Ts. Dr. Sharifudin bin Md Shaarani, received a courtesy call from representatives of the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). The representatives included Dr. Md Fauzi bin Md Ismail, Registrar of MBOT, Ts. Dr. Nor Aznan bin Mohd Nor, Director of the Technology and Technical Accreditation Secretariat (TTAS) and Puan Anis Syahrina binti Lukman, Assistant Director of TTAS MBOT.

The purpose of this courtesy call was to share the latest updates about MBOT comprehensively and to explore potential collaboration opportunities between USIM and MBOT, such as the accreditation of Technology and Technical Academic Programs, the development of new academic programs related to Technology and Technical fields, enhancing the professionalism of USIM lecturers through MBOT Professional Recognition, and the establishment of joint programs between USIM and MBOT.
