July 10, 2025 - Ts. Dr. Nor Aznan bin Mohd Nor, Director of the Technology and Technical Accreditation Secretariat (TTAS), attended an engagement session at Politeknik Melaka to discuss in detail the accreditation process, including documentation requirements, justification for accreditation conversion and its implications for students and institutions. The representatives included Y.M Raja Syariz Zafian bin Raja Sulaiman, Assistant Director, TTAS and Mr. Zaidul Khair bin Hamdan, Administrative Assistant Officer, TTAS.

The purpose of this engagement session was to explore the potential of upgrading academic programmes under Jabatan Pendidikan Politeknik dan Kolej Komuniti to TVET programmes recognised by Malaysia Board of Technologists. During the session, Ts. Dr. Nor Aznan provided a detailed explanation on the pathway for converting academic sector programmes to TVET sector.
